for founders shipping products
and teams scaling them.
BurhanuddinHalaiFull-stack engineer · Karachi, UTC+5
A software engineer who builds production systems, then puts numbers on what they changed
From AI infrastructure to real-time platforms - every system measured by what changed after it shipped.

Production work since the year I graduated
I’m a software engineer based in Karachi. Founders bring me products to ship; engineering teams bring me systems to own. In both cases the job is the same - production software that keeps working long after I’ve handed it over.
Plainly: a BSCS from SZABIST, class of 2023, and production work from the same year. An internal SaaS owned solo at Q-Solutions, React platforms at Innovative Network, and utility-scale SaaS and AI infrastructure at Cygnis Media, where I build today. I write things down - plans, decisions, trade-offs. It’s the cheapest reliability tool there is.

How I work
Legible from the first commit to the handover
- 01
Scope in writing.
Every engagement opens with a written plan: milestones, risks, and what 'done' means. You know the shape of the work before the first commit.
- 02
Working software every week.
Weekly demos of running software, not status decks. If a week won't produce something you can click, I flag it in advance.
- 03
Decisions with reasons.
Every significant technical choice comes with a written why - the trade-offs, the alternatives, and what it costs to change later.
- 04
Clean handover, always.
Documentation, tests, and runbooks are part of the deliverable, not a favour. The goal: the next engineer needs me for nothing.

Let’s put a number
on what you build next
Tell me what you’re building and where it’s stuck, and you’ll get an honest read: scope, risks, and whether I’m the right person to build it. Hiring for a team? The resume, code, and references are one email away - no chasing required.

Fair questions
- Who owns the code?
- You do. Work ships to your repositories from day one - code, tests, documentation, runbooks. The handover standard: the next engineer needs me for nothing.
- What does an engagement look like?
- A written scope first - milestones, risks, and what "done" means. Then weekly demos of running software. Shape and budget are agreed before the first commit.
- What happens after launch?
- The deliverable already includes what maintenance needs: tests, documentation, runbooks. For hands-on support past that, we agree a window up front.
- How do we work across time zones?
- Based in Karachi (UTC+5), with a protected daily window that overlaps North American mornings, plus written updates every week.
